Took Off the Shackles

Yesterday afternoon I’m driving to a retirement planning meeting and though I have mostly made up my mind about the date I plan for it, I have a moment of panic. This is the day I find out if it is really feasible. I call my sister (my lifeline) she’s unavailable so I leave a voicemail. “Sis I hope this is the right thing to do. God I need to talk to you!”

Next thing I do is pop on The Skeptic Metaphysicians which is about at the halfway mark and guest, Steve Farrell is literally talking about “taking off the shackles”; “letting go”, and other words to that effect. Ahhh. It’s abundantly clear that this is divine instruction. After 26 years I am ready to hang up that hat and start a new life.
