Founder
I try to be a blend of ambition and introspection—a founder of multiple businesses, a strategy consultant and a former lawyer passionate about personal growth and meaningful conversation. On one hand, I’m a Type A personality who thrives on productivity, structure, and success. On the other, I try to be reflective, often pausing to step outside the daily grind to explore life’s bigger picture and the ongoing (and never-ending) processes involved, finding moments of clarity beyond the “matrix” of everyday reality (I always joke that the Matrix movies should be considered more documentaries than Hollywood blockbusters!). I aim to bring my experience and a unique perspective to the table. I founded Leave Law Behind (www.leavelawbehind.com), a leading coaching program that helps attorneys transition into non-legal careers, and have launched and run multiple other businesses.
I enjoy speaking on a spectrum of varied and engaging topics, ranging from self-development and parenting neurodivergent children to nurturing my marriage of 20 years to small business entrepreneurship, global events and their historical context, technology scaling, psychological projection, and spirituality as a tool for reducing anxiety and expanding awareness. I aim to be equal parts thoughtful and humorous (and a HUGE sports fan!), I see every conversation as an opportunity to teach and learn. I hope audiences will not only enjoy listening to me but walk away feeling inspired, a little wiser, and more connected to themselves and the world around them. I work very hard to connect with the audience on a personal level and to make my presentations not just informative, but engaging and memorable.
