Dr. Elisa Medhus is an internist who has practiced medicine for 30 years and has also authored three award-winning parenting books. Raised by atheists, she questioned her son, Erik’s, existence after his untimely suicide, but then Erik visited his militantly atheist grandfather and her journey from skepticism to belief began.
Now, she channels Erik through a medium, asking him questions about death, the afterlife and more. Erik continues to offer his insight as an insider on the other side, but also adds comic relief with his mischievous pranks. She shares her journey in her book, "My Son and the Afterlife". Erik has authored his own book, "My Life After Death: A Memoir from Heaven".
