I am a spiritual author and intuitive guide who assists individuals in connecting with their inner wisdom and higher self. Previously, I was a professor of Spanish literature and a lawyer. In 2000, I earned a Ph.D. at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and taught at the University of Iowa and Northwestern University. In 2009, I earned my J.D., magna cum laude, at NYU School of Law. After two clerkships with federal judges, I practiced law as a litigator in Manhattan.
Although literature and law might seem far from the world of spirituality, they have deeply informed my understanding of language, storytelling, social structures, and psychology as they bear on the human experience. I therefore bring to the field of spirituality a unique perspective informed by a rigorous engagement with language, literary and cultural theory, psychoanalysis, and the law.
My spiritual awakening coincided with my legal career, beginning with yoga and meditation, followed by a series of encounters with spiritual teachers in 2010. In 2016, after years of meditation, spiritual study, and healing practices, I experienced a kundalini awakening that transformed my consciousness and opened up my psychic faculties. In 2018, I transitioned from law to writing, as well as offering intuitive readings and teaching various workshops and online courses on spirituality and intuition.
