A deep dive into the consciousness technology that is quietly changing how people experience their living spaces, their relationships, and themselves.

There is a growing conversation happening at the edges of science, spirituality, and everyday human experience... and at the center of it is a Canadian company called Focused Life-Force Energy.
Founded in 2008 by Clayten Stedmann and Jeffrey Stegman, Focused Life-Force Energy is a subscription-based consciousness technology service that claims to broadcast a high-vibrational energy field to specific physical addresses, mobile devices, and locations around the world. It sounds, at first pass, like something you would need to suspend a great deal of disbelief to take seriously.
And yet... tens of thousands of people in over 90 countries are subscribers. A Harvard and Yale-trained scientist has joined their research team. Their statistical data on electromagnetic field mitigation has come back at five-in-a-million odds of being random. And the testimonials, ranging from children spontaneously sharing their feelings to manufacturing employees abandoning office gossip overnight, keep coming in from every corner of the globe.
So what exactly is Focused Life-Force Energy? How does it work? And is there any real reason to take it seriously?
The Origin of Focused Life-Force Energy
The story of Focused Life-Force Energy begins not in a laboratory or a boardroom, but in a two-car garage in Winlaw BC, where a retired engineer and tool-and-die maker spent years trying to build a free energy device for humanity.
Clayten Stedmann encountered this inventor and his work in 2007. What the inventor had not managed to build was a free energy generator in the conventional sense. What he had stumbled onto, guided by what Stedmann describes as a profoundly pure intention to serve humanity, was something considerably stranger and arguably more significant; a machine capable of concentrating life force energy -- the same universal force known in other traditions as chi, prana, or ether -- at a specific output point, and from that point, broadcasting it to a designated location anywhere on earth.
The mechanism, as Jeffrey Stegman explains it, works through what is called quantum association; the same principle that underlies prayer, distance healing, and the experience of thinking of someone a moment before they call. When a unique identifier -- an address, a set of coordinates, a cell phone number -- is placed within the Focused Life-Force Energy field, a connection is established between that field and that location. The field then activates around the property or device, creating what the company calls a high-consciousness environment.
Over the years, Stedmann and Stegman rebuilt the original technology from the ground up. taking it, as Clayten describes it, from a Model T to a Tesla... adding quantum association software, layered energetic programs, and a rigorous calibration system based on the work of Dr. David Hawkins.
The Hawkins Map of Consciousness and How Focused Life-Force Energy Uses It
Dr. David Hawkins was a psychiatrist, physician, and consciousness researcher who developed what he called the Map of Consciousness; a logarithmic scale running from one to one thousand, on which different emotional states, belief systems, and levels of human awareness are assigned numerical values.
On the Hawkins scale, 200 represents the threshold of courage, the point at which energy becomes net-positive rather than net-draining. Fear sits at 100. Anger at 150. Reason at 400. Love at 500. Peace at 600. And at 550, at the upper edge of what Hawkins identified as the love range, sits the level of unconditional love. That is where Focused Life-Force Energy sets its baseline field.
The average American home, according to Clayten Stedmann's calibrations, sits at around 300 on this scale. A property on the Focused-Life Force Energy service is held at 550 or above 98% of the time. During active boosts, which subscribers can activate through a customer portal for meditation, creative work, or particularly demanding days, the field can be elevated significantly higher.
Stedmann is the primary calibration practitioner at Focused Life-Force Energy. He uses applied kinesiology, commonly known as muscle testing, to measure consciousness levels across properties, programs, and people. It is a practice he has now performed, by his own count, over eleven million times... approximately 20,000 calibrations per month just to maintain the ongoing service.
He is careful to note that kinesiology is not a parlor trick. Only around 15% of people can perform it reliably. It requires rigorous training, consistent hydration, careful management of personal bias, team verification, and precisely worded statements; the company references the Oxford Dictionary as its highest-consciousness linguistic framework. Practiced correctly, Stedmann describes it as forming a prompt for the Universal Intelligence, the original AI, that connects all things.
What Focused Life Force Energy Actually Does in a Home
The effects that Focused Life-Force Energy subscribers report fall into a few consistent categories, and they are notable precisely because they tend to be unexpected.
Reduced anxiety. One of the most commonly reported experiences, particularly in the early days of the service, is a sudden, involuntary release of tension. Subscribers describe feeling as though they have just stepped outside into clean air. a kind of whole-body exhale that arrives without effort or intention.
Improved relationships. Jeffrey Stegman tells the story of activating Focused Life-Force Energy in one of his manufacturing businesses, without informing any of his employees. The result was a dramatic reduction in workplace gossip, which dropped to near zero, and a spontaneous increase in cross-departmental cooperation. He was the only person in the building who knew what had changed.
Shifts in children's behavior. The testimonial that perhaps best illustrates the technology's potential involves a mother with two young boys, aged roughly three and five, who fought physically every single day. She activated Focused Life-Force Energy on her home and, days later, walked into an unusually quiet room to find the older brother with his arm around the younger one, saying: "I didn't know you felt that way." Jeffrey describes it as the biggest miracle that mother had ever witnessed.
Neighborhood ripple effects. Because the Focused Life-Force Energy field radiates outward from a property, neighboring homes are also touched by a lower level of the field. Clayten Stedmann describes receiving hundreds of reports over the years of neighborhoods transforming... streets where residents never spoke to each other suddenly hosting potluck dinners and block parties. He offers one explanation with characteristic directness: low consciousness, he notes, does not enjoy high consciousness. Residents either adapt or, in some cases, move on.
The detox response. Not every early experience with Focused Life-Force Energy is immediately pleasant. The company is transparent about what it calls a detox response; a period in which the amplified field appears to surface suppressed emotional material, old patterns, and unresolved inner conflicts. Long-term subscribers describe coaching newer users through this phase with the same message: stay with it, because it clears.
The Science Behind Focused Life-Force Energy
Focused Life-Force Energy operates in what researcher Dr. Gary Schwartz, a professor at the University of Arizona with faculty appointments at Harvard and Yale, calls frontier science. the territory where the phenomena are real but the mechanisms are not yet fully understood by mainstream frameworks.
Schwartz joined the Focused Life-Force Energy research team after spending a full year observing their work without going on the service himself, specifically to protect his scientific objectivity. By the end of that year, the data had convinced him to both join the team formally and become a subscriber.
The statistical results of Focused Life-Force Energy's studies are striking. Their electromagnetic field mitigation research has returned p-values of five in a million, meaning there is a five-in-a-million probability that the results are due to chance. For context, one in a hundred is considered statistically significant. One in a thousand is considered very strong. Five in a million is in a category that conventional scientific language struggles to accommodate.
The studies have not yet been published in peer-reviewed journals. The research is ongoing. But the data, and the caliber of the scientist now stewarding it, represents something that the open-minded skeptic would be unwise to dismiss without examination.
The Service Projects Nobody Talks About
Perhaps the most quietly extraordinary dimension of Focused Life-Force Energy is what the company does with its technology when it is not running subscriber services.
Approximately 90% of the capacity of the Focused Life-Force Energy system is directed toward unpaid planetary service work. This includes consciousness programs for honeybee populations to build resilience against environmental stressors, programs for cetacean sovereignty, supporting whales and dolphins. and geopathic stress clearing for locations that carry the energetic residue of historical trauma.
Among the earliest and most significant of these projects was a consciousness clearing program applied to World War II concentration camp sites in Poland, Germany, and elsewhere. Stedmann and Stegman located the sites using Google Earth, calibrated the trauma held in the land, and ran clearing programs on them. They told no one. They charged nothing. Jeffrey describes the project as quite, quite emotional.
It is this dimension of the company's work that perhaps most clearly answers the question of who Clayten Stedmann and Jeffrey Stegman actually are. They are not selling enlightenment. They are not positioning themselves as gurus. They are two businessmen who found a tool that could help, and quietly pointed it at the places that needed it most.
